New Year's Resolutions aren't the only things motivating me to lose weight.
I want to be happy. I want to feel good about myself. I want to be able to tie my shoes without discomfort. I want to wear a bra that doesn't cut off my circulation.
I also have a family and I worry I won't be there for them. I also don't want to be left out of activities because I'm so unfit.
Diabetes and cancer run in my family - as does heart disease.
I also have high blood pressure and worry that if I continue on this track I will become diabetic.
What motivates you?
I'm loving Weight Watchers. It's easy and online. I actually find that I'm having trouble using all of my points. I feel energized and satisfied.

Your new year's revelation made me want to have a bra burning party!!! lolol. I know exactly what you are talking about. I have many motivations my HEALTH, gaining my confidence, self-esteem back, not running by the mirror so I don't have to see myself, being able to shop, GRADUATION IN MAY, my husband saying he is going to buy me a huge supply of new Victoria's Secret, and being able to run around with my son without breathing hard, and just wanting to make a total lifestyle/attitude/thought change. I think that's more than enough to be motivated about. I'm ready for this to be the last time that I have to lose a significant amount of weight and finally take care of myself.

I think as women we are so motivated by what we put on our bodies! I would love to fit in VS bras and underwear, but even more, I want to shop in a regular size store and not the ones that have such mumu looking clothing.
